Ascending through the 108 steps of this temple to offer namaskaras with a feeling of devotion in heart gives the same experience as of the climbing of Neelimala to reach the Holy Shrine of Sabarimala.

Mini Sabarimala Shree Ayyappa Temple, is a unique temple as it resembles to the Holy Shrine of Shree Dharma Shastha (Ayyappa) at Sabarimala, Kerala, crowning the Western Ghats. This temple attracts thousands of devotees throughout the year. Daily poojas, are performed by qualified melshanthi (Chief Priest), Asst.Priests, etc. This temple was not maintained as per the thantra vidhi due to various reasons. Therefore the devotees decided to form a governing council. The council was entrusted the work of renovation of the temple, which included constructing the Garbhagriha, and installation of Panchaloha image as per the Thantra Vidhi to maintain the purity and sanctity of the Temple.

The devotees first selected an adhoc committee for constructing, maintaining the temple. The committee was registered as SHREE AYYAPPA SEVA SANGHAM under Society Registration Act 1860 and under Bombay Public Trust Act 1950. The Executive Committee of the Trust consists of 5 Executive Members and 11 Managing Committee Members and they are elected every year by the Members of the Trust in a democratic way in the Annual General Body Meeting.
